Women Who Wander

Snowshoeing & Yoga Retreat

January 16-18, 2009

Cost: $TBD

Who is this trip for?

We are offering this weekend away for women who like to snowshoe and who are interested in yoga!

What kind of activities will we be doing?

The intent of this weekend retreat is to enjoy making new friends, to spend some time relaxing and reflecting, snowshoeing and stretching our bodies by participating in several yoga sessions right at the cabin!

What is the fitness level of this course?

Active. We want our trips to be inclusive to all types of women who enjoy the outdoors. On this trip our snowshoe walks will be easy, but will include some elevation gain. You must be able to hike for 4 miles. We suggest that all participants spend some time walking or hiking several weeks prior to the trip to prevent injuries. No experience in yoga or snowshoeing is necessary.

Where are we going and how will we get there?

We will be carpooling from Olympic Outfitters, downtown Olympia on Friday at 8 am. We will spend Friday and Saturday night in a cabin near Roslyn, WA. We will be back to Olympia late afternoon on Sunday.
